| Sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner...
School, soccer practice, homework, sleep, repeat. That is basically all my schedule consists of, and it does get overwhelming, adding hockey to the mix. Although, it may seem weird, but it makes me feel more safe, more content. I hate being lazy, which is why I love sports I suppose. I have had a brutal week, both to my physical being and my mentality. Getting hit by a slap shot on the head and banging up my knees are only the tip of the iceberg, I have learned. I got hit in the face by a soccer ball today, which hurt my confidence level more than anything. I won't lie about that. I know I'm not a great goalie, but diving down, getting on the ground, and having a person kick a ball straight at your face isn't exactly fun to deal with.
Sometimes it feels like my only friend...
Otherwise, things have been good. Green Day absolutely rocked, we won a soccer game, and I have a date for homecoming. Okay, I lied. Things have been close to awesome, although I am pretty exhausted. All pays off though, so it's okay.
Is the city I live in...
okay, well I am off to bed. I am quite tired, and still have school tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great night, to John especially. I know he won't read this, but I really hope things get better for him, and I'm always here for him if he needs me.
The city of Angels...
Good night everyone.
Lonely as I am...

| Stab my back, it's better when I bleed for you...
So, school started on Thursday. I really don't mind surprisingly. I'm glad to finally have a schedule. Anyway, it's been going pretty good. My schedule is okay, the only class I don't like is math. I really dislike my teacher, but what can ya do? My band class is a riot, most of them are younger or older than me, but it's okay. I started talking to a really cool guy in it, and he's into a lot of the same stuff I am, including the same kind of music. We were talking and I guess he's going to the Greenday concert too, which is pretty cool. My soccer coach is also going to that. Haha. Speaking of that, the concert is in 13 days I believe. I'm pretty psyched.
Anyway, I must continue cleaning my room.

| Even when your hope is gone, move along, move along just to make it through.....
We had a scrimmage yesterday in Elk River. It's tough being a goalie, I won't lie, and I'm still not used to it. We lost all 3, but I guess we did okay for only a week of practice. Anyway....I went to the game fair afterwards because my mom was working there with Chris, who owns a new kennel in Milaca. So, we were walking around with our dog and I saw this really cute guy who was working at a lemonade stand thing. My mom asked me to get a lemonade for her, and I was thinking, "okay...." So I did, and when I saw him up close, I could have sworn I had seen him before, and I knew my dearest friend Hayley would think he was gorgeous. I wanted to show her him, and I thought I could take a picture on my phone, but I didn't exactly want to be a stalker. Anyway, we walked around a little bit more, and passed him a few more times. When we got back to our table/tent I sat down and called Hayley. I told her about him and she wanted a picture, of course...so I said I would go get one. After I hung up with her, I walked back to where he was and one of the ladies that was there said, "Can I help you?" At first I wasn't sure what to say, and I couldn't believe that I was doing this, but then I got my voice back. "Umm yeah....Can I talk to...that..guy?" So she called him up and he goes, "Hey." I said hello back, and then pulled the old, "Do I know you?" haha. The ironic thing is, is that he did look familiar. He goes, "no...where do you live?" Weird enough, he live in the city right next to us. After a minute or so, I go, "Can I have a picture of you?" or something along that line. He was like, "uhhh...sure...." and I got a picture. Then...I left. I was thinking he probably thought I was a total freak. Anyway, I went back over by my mom and little sister and was messing around with the soccer ball and about 10 minutes later, the guy walks by. My mom goes, "Lauren, look! He was looking for you!" I just started laughing and kept on messing with the ball. Well, about another 10 minutes later, he comes walking toward us, and stops and talks to me, and asked for my number. I gave it to him, and I did end up talking to him last night. So yup. That was my day. Adding to that I spent the night at Hayley's, went to Brian's bonfire and heard a ton of drama. Ahh well.

| It ends tonight...It ends tonight......
I've been exhausted lately. Haven't been getting enough sleep I could say, but thats my fault. Going to bed at 2-3 in the morning isn't exactly bright, although I will say that it was fun. Over the weekend, Hayley and I were hanging out with Kris and Billy and then Mike and Brian. Not surprisingly, we had a blast doing all the crazy stuff we do.This weekend it included; racing down a hill on little 4 yearold bikes, dancing to the All American Rejects, Dan asking her out, laying out in the middle of the street at 3:30 in the morning, seeing over 20 shooting stars, Matt's birthday, Hayley and I rocking out in our pretend band, going shopping for our sports equipment, arguing over who called the guy in the blue shirt, getting mad at Brian, playing driveway hockey, not understanding Gabby, her cool dream with our (dream) boyfriends picking us up in a cop car, my dream with the perfect boyfriend, riding on the dirtbike, and more. So, as you probably guessed, Hayley has a boyfriend now, which is awesome =) It's funny though, because everytime she has a boyfriend, I don't have one, and when I have a boyfriend, she doesn't have one. Ahh well. Anyway, I'm pretty psyched. Soccer starts tomorrow. At 9 in the morning. So I will have to let you know how that goes.
